Day 1: Arrival

We will pick you at JRO Kilimanjaro airport. After briefing, we will start our drive enroute through Arusha to LM as indicated in your itinerary.

Game Drive Lake Manyara

Full day game drive in Lake Manyara Park in search of tree climbing lions and the gentle herbivores on which they feed in the lush. This is the best place for monkeys.

Day 2: Lake Manyara National Park

Lake Manyara National Park is renowned for its diverse ecosystems and abundant wildlife, offering fantastic opportunities for animal viewing. From flamingos and other waterbirds around the lake to elephants, giraffes, hippos, and a variety of antelope species, you’re likely to encounter a wide array of fascinating creatures during your visit.

Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater

Descending into the Ngorongoro Crater is an unforgettable experience, as it offers breathtaking views and incredible wildlife encounters. The Ngorongoro Crater is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is often referred to as the “eighth wonder of the world.” It’s a massive caldera formed by the collapse of an ancient volcano and is now home to a diverse array of wildlife, including lions, elephants, rhinos, and more.

Once you’ve explored the wonders of the Ngorongoro Crater, the drive to Serengeti Serena Lodge will take you through the stunning landscapes of the Serengeti National Park. This journey offers opportunities for game viewing along the way, as the Serengeti is renowned for its abundant wildlife, including the famous Great Migration of wildebeest and zebra.

Day 4: Serengeti National Park Game drives

A full-day game drive in the Serengeti National Park promises to be an exhilarating adventure filled with incredible wildlife encounters and stunning landscapes. The Serengeti is renowned for its vast savannahs, dotted with acacia trees and rocky outcrops, providing the perfect habitat for a diverse array of animals.

Your day will likely begin early, with a hearty breakfast to fuel your safari adventure. As you set out into the park, your experienced guide will lead you through different regions of the Serengeti, each offering unique wildlife sightings and photographic opportunities.

Keep your eyes peeled for the Big Five (lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and rhinoceros), as well as cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, hyenas, and an abundance of birdlife. The Serengeti is also famous for the Great Migration, where millions of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles traverse the plains in search of fresh grazing grounds, providing one of the most spectacular wildlife spectacles on earth.

Your game drive will include stops for lunch, either at a designated picnic area within the park or back at the lodge, depending on your preference. After a full day of exploring the Serengeti and capturing unforgettable moments on camera, you’ll make your way back to Serena Serengeti Lodge.

Arriving back at the lodge, you’ll have the opportunity to relax and unwind, perhaps enjoying a refreshing swim or indulging in a spa treatment before dinner. As the sun sets over the Serengeti, you can recount the day’s adventures over a delicious meal and marvel at the beauty of the African wilderness under the vast, starlit sky. Finally, you’ll retire to your comfortable accommodations at Ewanjan Tented Camp for a restful overnight stay, ready to embark on more safari adventures or return home on the following day.
