Day 1: Arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport JRO & transfer to your lodge in Arusha

  • Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) met Lovebird Safaris representative upon arrival with a special greeting – welcome drinks
  • Transfer to your lodge in Moshi or Arusha for your 1st night in Tanzania 
  • Depending on your arrival time, you may have some leisure time to explore Moshi or Arusha or rest and acclimate to the local time zone

Transit To Tarangire

Known for its striking baobab trees and large elephant herds, is a hidden gem among Tanzania’s parks.

Day 2: Arusha/Moshi to Tarangire National Park

  • After breakfast, depart for Tarangire Park with your picnic lunches
  • Enjoy a full day game in Tarangire and overnight at your lodge or camp
  • Tarangire is known for its large herds of elephants and diverse wildlife.

Day 3: Full day Tarangire National Park

  • Full day of game drives in Tarangire and overnight at your Lodge or Camp
  • Explore the park and its unique baobab trees, overnight at your lodge or Tented camp inside of the Park

Lake Eyasi, a secluded soda lake in Tanzania’s Rift Valley, is home to the Hadzabe and Datoga tribes, offering visitors a unique cultural experience.

Day 4: Depart Tarangire National Park to Lake Eyasi

  • Drive to Lake Eyasi, a beautiful soda lake in the Rift Valley
  • Visit the local Hadzabe or Datoga tribes for cultural experiences
  • Optional activities include birdwatching or walking safaris around the lake

Day 5: Excursions around Lake Eyasi

  • Spend another day exploring Lake Eyasi and its surroundings
  • Learn more about the traditional lifestyles of the local tribes at Kisimangeda – Lake Eyasi, overnight at your Lodge or Tented Camp

Serengeti National Park

Full day game drive in Serengeti National Park in search of big fives, lions and the gentle herbivores on which they feed in the lush.

Day 6: Lake Eyasi to Serengeti National Park

  • After breakfast, drive to the Serengeti with picnic lunches, enjoy the changes or beautiful scenery and game drive enroute to your lodge or Tented Camp, arrive at your camp in time for your shower, dinner.

Day 7: Serengeti National Park

  • Spend a full-day exploring the Central Serengeti and its surroundings
  • Seronera is well known for its good number of big cats around the area, dinner and overnight at your lodge or Tented Camp

Day 8: Central Serengeti to Northern Serengeti/Kogatende

  • Drive to the Northern Serengeti for the great wildebeest migration, arrive intime for lunch and enjoy the evening game drive in the area. The Northern Serengeti highlight is known for its river crossings during the Great Migration (seasonal) during this time of Year (July /Aug/Sept & October)

Day 9: Northern Serengeti

Full day in Northern Serengeti, overnight at your lodge or Tented Camp. Mainly explore the Mara River areas, where wildebeest and zebras often cross during the migration season – optional hot lunches or packed lunches with drinks and snacks for the whole day

Day 10 - 11: Northern Serengeti

  • Another full day – exploration of the Northern Serengeti, look out for predators like lions, cheetahs, and leopards around the Kopjes before you proceed to your lodge or Tented Camp for dinner and overnight.
  • Optional hot air balloon safari over the northern Serengeti (if desired)
  • Continue game drives in the Northern Serengeti National Park and enjoy the vast landscapes and abundant wildlife of the Serengeti Park, dinner and overnight at your lodge or Tented Camp

Day 12: Northern Serengeti to Zanzibar

  • Depart Serengeti National Park to Zanzibar – Auric Air flight to ZNZ
  • Upon arrival at Zanzibar Airport, transfer to Hotels or Resort Zanzibar
  • Check-in and spend the rest of the day relaxing and enjoying the beach

Day 13 - 14: Zanzibar beach relaxation

  • Indulge in a beachside massage or spa treatment

Day 15: Departure (depart ZNZ-JNIA) – International departure
